Giving IN and Giving Back
As we all brace for winter - many of us are looking for ways to insulate ourselves. And because this is truly uncharted territory - we can at least take comfort in knowing that we are IN this together.
As many of you know, our team has a sweet spot for the culinary industry in Connecticut. And recognizing the extra need for supporting not only our restaurants, but the many nonprofit organizations this year, we are thrilled to once again be supporting the marketing and public relations efforts of the Hartford Rib Off - our state's largest charity BBQ event!
From Oct 19-25th, we are encouraging restaurants to create one BBQ INSPIRED DISH OR DRINK and give 50% of the proceeds of that dish/drink to the HRO Inc. These much needed funds will go to 3 area nonprofits: Journey Home, The Hole in the Wall Gang, and the Hartford Rib Off Scholarship Fund.
Not only does this event offer an easy way to show support of the community and bring in extra patrons to restaurants, it raises much needed funds!! So, if you own a restaurant - please PLEASE, help us by joining IN on our quest to help others. If you love food, especially BBQ FOOD, mark your calendars - we need you all to go out and dine, dish, and support!
