Going through various analytic reports can be overwhelming and incredibly confusing. Our team regularly receives questions like the below:

“Are these engagement numbers accurate?”
“Do these reports offer a true depiction of my reach?”

Our response often starts like this:

1- We feel that it is important to push out your content through as many platforms as possible, <ie. email, social media, public relations, newsletters, etc>.
2- When appropriate, spend a little ad money to better improve your marketing reach
3- Pick up the phone and connect with people - this is often the most successful way to engage with others.
4- Take analytical reports with a grain of salt, they can easily be inaccurate if you are not sure what metrics are important and which aren’t, <more on this in a future blog post>
5- Pay attention to the chatter around your business - are you noticing that more inquiries are coming in?

The bottom line? Getting in front of your target audience takes a TON of work. It is often multiple channels, multiple time, multiple ways that gets the best visibility!
