The Pillars of Business - and why you need to have them set in stone

Brand Pillars are the points that set your business apart from the competition. It is most common to create 3 pillars within a messaging platform - The Brand Foundation, The Brand Identity and The Brand Experience. But sometimes, organizations will follow up to 10 pillars as a way to define and organize their brand. 

How should you create strong and effective pillars?

Step 1: Understand your customer - How can you create a trusting relationship between your brand and the customers needs?

Step 2: Research - Study your customers and the marketplace. Put out a few questionnaires to understand their motivations, needs, and concerns.

Step 3: Look within - Choose products and service lines that best represent your company's mission and values while adhering to your audience's needs. 

Step 4: Create your team - Now that you have a better handle on what to offer, build a team that not only represents your brand, but is able to connect with your consumer base.
