Bite Sized Tips for the Week-End...
Here it is: Bite-sized tips for closing out the week effectively, setting yourself up for a relaxing weekend and a successful week ahead.
As the week comes to a close, many people find themselves feeling like they can start to unwind, relax, and put their feet up with a good Whiskey in hand. (Ok, well maybe we do this every night). Knowing the weekend is right around the corner brings a sense of calmness and a chance to let go.
Unless of course, you are us. We know, this is going to sound nuts, but we actually thrive off Mondays rather than Fridays.
Don’t get us wrong, weekends are wonderful: hanging out with the fam, catching up on our favorite Netflix shows, over-eating. 🤣
For us.... Mondays are the start of something entirely new and a chance to get those creative minds working.
Here is our simple, (and effective) start of the week tip sheet:
Step 1: Reflect on last week and look at the results you achieved.
Step 2: Identify tasks
Step 3: Prioritize goals
Step 4: Create a checklist complete with a timeline (who doesn’t love ticking off completed tasks?!
We know how to set ourselves up for success and it all starts with how you end the week before.
By Week-End take a moment to review all of the things you accomplished that week. Celebrate even the smallest successes!
The cliff notes? Set yourself up for success, not failure. Create measurable goals, ask for help when you need to, and pat yourself on the back, (pour yourself an extra glass of whiskey) at the end of each day - you survived!
